School Age Beginner Boxing | 8-15 years old (school term time)
Get ready to punch, move, and have a blast! This class is designed especially for kids ages 8 to 15 who want to learn boxing in a fun, exciting, and safe environment. Through games, pad work, and light, controlled contact, students learn the basics of boxing while building confidence, coordination, and discipline.
Each class follows a step-by-step plan that helps young boxers level up their skills at their own pace. As they grow stronger and more confident, they’ll be prepared for sparring and full-contact training when they’re ready. Perfect for energetic kids who love to stay active, make friends, and feel like champions! Please note that this class only runs during school term time.
Buckingham Boxing Awards | 11-16 years old
The Boxing Awards offer a safe, structured pathway for young people aged 11 to 16 to learn boxing while building fitness, confidence, and discipline. Designed for beginners and recreational boxers, the programme focuses on gradual progression in a supportive and well-controlled environment.
Children work through six achievement levels — from Preliminary to Platinum — learning correct boxing technique, improving coordination, and taking part in carefully supervised, controlled sparring as they advance. Each level is fully certificated, giving clear goals and a strong sense of accomplishment.
This programme is ideal for parents whose child may wish to work towards becoming carded and competing in the future, while ensuring they develop the right skills, attitude, and safety awareness first. It also supports recognised qualifications such as GCSE, BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince’s Trust, making it valuable both in sport and education.
Adult Beginner Boxing | 16+
In this class, you’ll learn the basics of boxing in a safe, controlled-contact environment that’s easy to follow and enjoyable for everyone. It’s perfect for beginners, or for anyone looking to add something new and fun to their regular workout routine.
Classes are upbeat and supportive, focusing on movement, technique, and fitness at a comfortable pace. Whether you’re starting your fitness journey or just want to try boxing without pressure, this class is a great way to stay active and have fun.
Adult Intermediate Boxing | 16+
Ready to level up? This is where boxing really comes alive. You’ll push your fitness, sharpen your skills, and start putting everything you learned in the beginner class into action.
With fast-paced technical sessions and light, controlled sparring, you’ll experience the thrill of real boxing while staying safe and supported. A gumshield is required—this is your moment to step up, challenge yourself, and feel the excitement of real progress in the ring.
Carded Boxers
An elite class for boxers competing on the England Boxing national circuit. Designed for advanced athletes, sessions focus on high-level technique, sharp tactics, and performance-driven training. Each boxer follows an individualised plan to progress through the ranks and compete at the highest level.
Adult Hardcore HIIT | 16+
This high intensity interval training class is built for anyone aged 16+ looking to push their limits and get seriously fit — no boxing experience needed. Combining boxing-inspired movements with intense HIIT training, sessions deliver a full-body workout that builds strength, endurance, and confidence fast.

Alternative Provision & Mentorship Programme
Buckingham Boxing offers an Alternative Provision and Mentorship Programme designed to support young people who are currently out of education or employment. Using boxing as a positive engagement tool, we help participants rebuild confidence, structure, and direction in a safe and supportive environment.
Through the Boxing Awards, young people work toward recognised achievements while developing discipline, commitment, and resilience. Alongside physical training, the programme focuses on life skills, goal setting, and personal development, helping participants build habits that support long-term success both inside and outside the gym.
Each participant receives mentorship, clear progression targets, and consistent encouragement from experienced coaches who understand the challenges young people may face. Our aim is to re-engage individuals, develop self-belief, and create positive pathways back into education, training, or employment.
